A boring walk can become a whole adventure with Aidan Wolf's AR game for Snap Spectacles, which drops monsters and treasure chests on your way. Grab a sword and smack those pesky bats hindering your progress.

With this app, your daily 10,000 steps won't be a problem, just don't overdo it. There are also distance markers to show you your progress and motivate you.

"It feels like I'm being consistently rewarded for moving which makes me want to get to the next thing, almost the opposite of the map which makes me feel like I'm being punished to go and unlock content," Wolf said.
