Production studio Corridor Crew has shown how it managed to make anime out of video footage using the AI powers of Stable Diffusion and Unreal Engine.
In the behind-the-scenes video, the creators will walk you through the process and discuss the problems they encountered and how they solved them. We all know how inconsistent text-to-image generated shots are and how they change all the time when applied to a video. But Corridor Crew overcame this issue and eventually made something that can really be called a cartoon, with great drawings, an interesting story, and intense rock-paper-scissors action.
The most impressive part is that the project was created thanks to the open-source community that provided the technology. The team hopes to move this tech forward and maybe even help change animation.
