Tutorial: Creating a Tornado Effect in EmberGen

JangaFX showed how to create a tornado simulation from scratch in under 8 minutes.

JangaFX released a short tutorial on how to create a tornado effect in EmberGen – a real-time fluid simulation tool for creating fire, smoke, and explosions.

The video shows how to adjust Line Force, Emitter, Simulation Node, and Shape Node settings, add rotation, and set up shading to create a cool tornado simulation.

The studio's other tutorials can also teach you how to export VDBs, create looping simulations, improve simulation and rendering speed, and much more.
