Tutorial: Drawing in 3D using Blender's Grease Pencil

Here's how to draw a 3D tree in Blender using the Grease Pencil tool.

A 3D Artist who wrote the Blender Secrets e-book Jan van den Hemel has released a great 2-part tutorial on drawing in 3D using Blender's Grease Pencil tool. In this tutorial, the artist showed how to draw a 3D tree with Stroke Placement set to Stroke, how to turn the drawing into a mesh, how to remesh the object and sculpt on top of it, and more. The tutorial is not that long but very informative so it will be especially useful for beginners.

Jan van den Hemel has also got a great YouTube channel called Blender Secrets. On this channel, the artist releases various enlightening tutorials filled with Blender-related tips and tricks. From sculpting to texture painting to rendering – all the aspects of the 3D production process are covered on this channel.
