Tutorial: Driving a Houdini-Made Vehicle Simulation With a Keyboard

Mina Vaseily shared an easy-to-follow tutorial demonstrating the setup for controlling a car simulation with a keyboard.

Houdini FX Artist Mina Vaseily has published a brief tutorial, explaining how to make your Houdini-based vehicle simulations driveable in real-time via a keyboard. In the tutorial, Mina revealed the setup for controlling a car simulation, demonstrated the Houdini pipeline, shared some tips and tricks on the software's nodes, and more, using NM3D's Land Rover Defender for the car itself. Additionally, the author made the setup available as a downloadable .hip file, which you can get for free via Mina's Gumroad page.
