Tutorial: Making a Procedural Clay Shader in C4D & Redshift

You And Me Academy's Theodore Daley explained how to set up a beautiful clay shader and how to give it a stop-motion animation feel.

Theodore Daley, a renowned Art Director and Co-Founder of You And Me Academy, a learning website and YouTube channel for Motion Designers, has recently a new in-depth tutorial explaining how to create a procedural clay shader in Cinema 4D.

In this tutorial, the artist thoroughly explained the nuances of building an awesome clay shader with three variations using C4D's built-in tools, spoke about rendering the shader using Redshift, shared some tips and tricks on working with texture maps in C4D, and even showed how to give the shader a stop-motion animation feel. Moreover, the creator also shared the shader's project files, which are available for free via You And Me Academy's official website.
