Ucupaint 2.2 Released With Revamped UI
Introducing collapsible groups, dropdown icons, and more.
The newest version of ucupumar's free texturing Blender add-on introduces a major UI redesign to address previous usability issues.
Ucupain 2.2 allows for collapsing layer groups, and dropdown UI panels now feature clear arrow icons that are more user-friendly and easier to click. Previously, you had to enable the override toggle (which was hidden by default) to modify the layer channel value, now, you can directly adjust the layer channel source.
Additionally, the Vector option has been moved outside of the layer dropdown, and you can now use the lock icon toggle for Uniform Scale. The Object Index is consistently labeled as Object Index instead of Pass Index. Layer and mask sources are now directly integrated into the UI. Also, a new Rebake button has been placed next to the Use Baked button, and an experimental option has been added to display mask/override images as their own entries in the layer list.
