Skydance New Media promises a "narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game, featuring a completely original story and take on the Marvel Universe".
Amy Hennig, a former creative director at Naughty Dog who is now managing Skydance New Media, is officially creating a new Marvel video game. The title is described as a "narrative-driven, blockbuster action-adventure game, featuring a completely original story and take on the Marvel Universe". Little is known about the heroes which will be featured in the game, its release date, or platforms.
Previously, Hennig worked as a writer and creative director on the first three Uncharted games, so we can definitely expect a Marvel story that can mix both action and emotional ups and downs.
Among other Marvel games in development are the tactical RPG Marvel’s Midnight Suns from XCOM maker Firaxis, plus Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 and a Wolverine game. I'm sure they have unannounced titles in store.
