Underwater Exploration Game Subside Might Feature a Non-VR Mode Soon

The developer Khena B has been testing a traditional gameplay option.

Take a moment to relax and watch this fascinating video of underwater swimming unveiled by Indie Game Developer Khena B, the creator of the immersive VR exploration game Subside.

Khena B has been experimenting with a non-VR version, raising the possibility that Subside could eventually be playable in standard PC mode as well. According to the comments on the Twitter post, some of the fans are excited about this possible addition.

Started from a WIP water shader, Subside was released last September. It is powered by Unreal Engine and features stunning visuals of the underwater realm, allowing players to explore aquatic wildlife and interact with subsea creatures. Apart from this, the immersive experience is achieved with an impressive grab mechanic, which lets the player fully grab onto objects:
