Unity-Powered Real-Time Reflections in Augmented Reality

The setup utilizes VR IK, Ultraleap tracking, and Final IK.

AR/VR Game Developer and Co-Founder of a development studio Alientrap Games Lee Vermeulen, widely known for his mind-blowing experiments with liquid physics in augmented reality, has shared a new demo showcasing an impressive new setup achieved with Unity.

The newly-showcased system made by Lee allows its creator to set up real-time reflections in AR, rendering a skybox of the office with an estimated body pose, achieved with VR IK, and a 3D hand model, via Ultraleap tracking. Additionally, the author utilized ZibraAI's Zibra Effects to create water physics, Final IK, and the Varjo XR-3 headset to capture the demo.

You can check out more AR experiments by visiting Lee Vermeulen's Twitter page. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
