Unreal Engine 5.0.3 Hotfix Released
The update fixes over 200 bugs and issues found in this version of the engine.
The Unreal Engine team announced the release of a 5.0.3 Hotfix for Unreal Engine 5, a small update designed to address some of the issues found in the latest version of the engine. According to the announcement, the 5.0.3 Hotfix fixes more than 200 bugs and issues, improving the engine's overall stability and allowing for a more convenient working process.
Here are some of the issues that were resolved with the Hotfix:
- Crash when open Virtual Production template project
- VR Template Feature Pack description localization is not up-to-date
- Can’t record float properties
- Incorrect FOV applied when evaluating LensFile with multiple ST maps
- Synching CitySample can prevent the Editor from running Turnkey and cooking\packaging.
- Bridge Plugin 2022.0.5 - Hotfix for Metahumans 1.0.0 Release
- Engine crashes when PIE in a world partitioned map
- Sculpting a landscape with the Smooth brush in a partitioned world produces breaks in the landscape mesh
- Lyra Standalone game crashes with GarbageCollection error when launching Elimination
- Path Tracer: Moveable lights do not invalidate the path tracer
