Urbanista Presented Wireless Earbuds Charged by Solar Energy

The company promises 32 hours of playtime without the need to charge even in low light conditions.

Urbanista has presented its solar-powered true wireless earbuds called Phoenix. They use Powerfoyle solar cell material built into the case to constantly charge when exposed to light. The creator promises 32 hours of playtime even in low light conditions with the case, while the buds alone can last for up to 8 hours.

The earbuds come with sound isolation and IPX4 water resistance, which means they can withstand water splashes but not heavy rain. They offer Bluetooth 5.2 support and a USB-C charging port. The multipoint connectivity feature means you can connect to two devices simultaneously. There are two colors available – black and pink.

This is not the first solar-powered device the company has made: last year, it released headphones called Los Angeles sporting the same solar battery.

Phoenix should be available in the fourth quarter of 2022 at a price of $149. Find out more on Urbanista's website and don't forget to join our Reddit page and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we are sharing breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
