Use Real World Maps In This City Builder About Traffic Engineering

Place roads, rails, bridges, and tunnels, and customize the way they intersect, design a map the world has never seen before with traffic simulated by powerful AI, or import real-world data and recreate roads you already know in Junxions, an upcoming indie sandbox simulation game by a Slovak studio CyberStorm.

Everything is procedural: no longer do you have to select from a predefined list of roads, you can easily create any kind you like. Using the cross-section tool, add, edit, or remove surfaces from the road, modify their width, set direction, prop placement, speed limits, vehicle restrictions, paint horizontal lines, and so on.

You can either let the algorithm do the work for you or design modular intersections on your own with an extensive number of options:

• Place individual lanes, walkways, railways, and surfaces like pavements, lawns, or even curbs
• Create roundabouts, restrict directions, specify turning lanes
• Place crosswalks, bike, tram, and rail crossings
• Place traffic lights and set up their phases
• Define rights of way
• Create islands for pedestrians
• Paint horizontal lines
• Finish with street lamps, trees, railings, noise-canceling barriers, etc.

Junxions features advanced simulation powered by multi-threaded AI that compiles rules of the road, like giving the right of way, changing lanes, respecting speed limits, and so on for cars, trucks, buses, trams, trains, pedestrians, and cyclists.

Also, if you're not feeling creative, you can always import real-world maps with minimalistic buildings and road lines by entering any coordinates.

There are two game modes available: challenge mode, where you design complex real-world locations or hand-crafted by the developers, all the while keeping the budget under control, or you can enjoy sandbox mode with no limits to your imagination.
