The statements followed the #SaveTF2 campaign.
Team Fortress 2's Twitter hadn't seen any action in two years, but that spell was broken a couple of days ago when Valve finally acknowledged the game's bots problem.
The issue with bots cheating and spamming unpleasant things in the chat is not new but it gained a lot of attention after the "Save TF2" campaign started about a week ago, with a huge number of people sharing their experiences and memories of Team Fortress 2.
Valve broke the silence with a short message saying the company was aware of the bots situation and is working "to improve things".
The response is promising but doesn't guarantee anything yet. However, it shows that collective actions can reach big companies, so let's hope this is enough for Valve to start solving this problem.
