Vampire Survivors Dropped Videos of Orchestra Soundtrack Recordings

Check out the Orchestral version of Vampire Survivors which lasts for 10 minutes.

Vampire Survivors is one of the biggest Indie hits of 2022. The game was created by Luca Gelante, a solo game developer, also known as Poncle. The game gained huge success after its release, even Phil Spencer said that spent over 200 hours playing it.

Recently, as part of the Save And Sound video game music event, Poncle has unveiled a captivating 10-minute clip showcasing a recording of their beautifully orchestrated soundtrack. This marks the first time that fans have been treated to this immersive musical experience.

Daniele Zandara took the lead in composing The Vampire Survivors soundtrack, as well as Filippo Vicarelli and William Davis who also made valuable contributions. Initially, the soundtrack was created using basic digital software. However, owing to the game's immense popularity, Poncle had the opportunity to re-record it with a magnificent full orchestra.

The Budapest Art Orchestra took charge of recording the soundtrack during several sessions, with the most extensive one involving an impressive ensemble of 56 musicians.

"Vampire Survivors owes a lot to the soundtrack. I had the songs on repeat during the early stages of development, and I couldn't have made the game without the contributions of our composers Danielle, Fillipo, and Will. Well, I probably could have made it without them, but it would have been much worse. Anyway, it's surreal seeing the songs being recorded by a whole proper orchestra, and we can't thank our players enough for making this possible," said Luca Galante.
