VFX Artist Presents a Photorealistic Ocean Foam Simulation Made in Houdini

Thankfully, Yuki Ito accompanied the project with a WIP shot, proving it is indeed a CG simulation.

Yuki Ito, a VFX Artist and master of digital liquids, continues pushing their artistic skills above and beyond, presenting a new hyperrealistic fluid simulation. Depicting sea waves playing around with foam on the water surface, the sequence was set up with Yuki's go-to 3D software, SideFX Houdini, and rendered in Karma, Houdini's physically-based path tracing renderer. Thankfully, the author accompanied the final result with a work-in-progress shot, proving that it is indeed a CG simulation:
