The talented team at Untold Studios has released their breakdown reel for The Boy & The Octopus, an original short film directed by Taika Waititi. Blending live-action footage mostly shot in Spain with stunning animation and VFX, the film is backed by an instrumental cover of Part of Your World from the Disney classic The Little Mermaid.
If you haven't seen it yet, The Boy & The Octopus follows the heartwarming journey of a young boy who, during a seaside vacation, discovers a curious octopus has latched onto his head. Back home, the duo develops a genuine friendship as the boy introduces his new companion to life on land.
