All characters look so artificial...all movements of characters are unnatural :( CG industry has traveled by so many years of 3D development in all possible ways and all characters in animations looks still like puppets:(

This Tuesday Nick Reynolds shared another quick tutorial, which details his Shrink Wrap workflow in Maya.
Basically, he tries to put a circle in a different shape. The video is only 8 minutes long and it will help you save a lot of time in the future (especially if you’re working with some kind of machines).
Nick actually has a whole series of tips. He releases a new video every Tuesday, addressing some particular issue in the 3d workflow and providing his solution. The videos are very varied, covering a bunch of topics: from PBR to photoscans and scattering. We’ve worked with Nick to present some of his tutorials as videos on 80.lv.
