Viewport vs Final Animation: An Amusing Peek Behind the Scenes

Jaden Lee has shared a cool demo showing his latest animation from an artist's perspective.

Emmy-winning Multimedia Artist Jaden Lee has proven once again that the behind-the-scenes of a 3D animation can often be even more entertaining than the animation itself, demonstrating one of his latest sequences from an artist's perspective.

Comparing the final animation to its viewport counterpart, the demo revealed how every element in the scene – such as the roulette wheel, the blackjack table, the levitating poker chips, and the camera – had to move in perfect harmony in order for the creator to achieve the envisioned result. According to Jaden, it took him about four hours to set up the final animation in Blender. You can learn more about the project and check out Jaden's previous works by visiting the artist's Twitter page and official website.

Previously, Movie Study Lab also offered a behind-the-scenes look at one of their animations, demonstrating how 3D Animators cut corners and cheat in their projects:

And prior to that, Pixar's Animator Cody Lyon showed how the team was breaking character models during the production of Luca, Pixar's 2021 animated film:
