Voxon Shipped VX2-XL, World's Largest 3D Volumetric Display

Known for developing true 3D displays that can be viewed from any angle without the need for special glasses, Voxon's technology offers a new way to engage with digital content, making it perfect for a wide range of applications, from education and medical visualizations to gaming and design.

A few years ago, we spoke with Gavin Smith about the VX1 volumetric display, and more recently, we demonstrated Voxon's latest advancements with a Unity-powered AI chatbot running on the current VX2 display. Gavin Smith has now announced the launch of the Voxon Photonics VX2-XL, the world's largest 3D volumetric display. With a display volume measuring 512 mm in diameter and 256 mm in height (20.5" x 10"), the VX2-XL can render interactive 3D volumetric holograms with up to 16 million color voxels.

The VX2-XL connects seamlessly to a standard Windows PC and comes with a powerful C/C++ programming API. It also offers support for popular workflows in Unity and Blender, making it an excellent choice for developers and creators looking to integrate advanced 3D volumetric displays into their projects.
