Two new offices will employ 400 talents.
Wargaming announced they decided to open two new studios in Belgrade, Serbia, and Warsaw, Poland. The new studios will reinforce the company’s global operations. The Serbia and Poland studios will be the sixth and seventh European offices – the company also has offices in Nicosia, Vilnius, Prague, Guildford, and Berlin. The team noted new divisions will employ around 400 talents.
"Warsaw and Belgrade were logical choices for these new locations; both are fast developing technology sectors with enormous potential. We look forward to working closely with both cities' IT communities to build best-in-class game development and publishing units," Wargaming boss Victor Kislyi told GamesBeat. "Wargaming continues to move forward with big plans for the future. The Belgrade and Warsaw locations will be essential for accomplishing our goals.”
The Belgrade office is said to employ both local and international talent across development and publishing divisions. This office will become a relocation hub for Wargaming staff moving from different locations in the future. They also noted that this office will be focused on developing World of Tanks and World of Warships, contributing to key services, ongoing support, and potential development of new products. Wargaming Warsaw will initially have a small publishing team, future plans haven’t been decided yet.
