Watch A Trailer for Netflix's Ghost in the Shell Series

The legendary saga returns.

Netflix has shared a new trailer for its upcoming 3DCG anime series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 that will available in April of 2020. The series will bring back the entire original cast from the Ghost in the Shell SAC series: Atsushi Nakanaka (Motoko Kusanagi), Akio Takatsuka (Bato), and Hirota Takaji (Togusa). Also, we now know that the music will be composed by Nobuko Toda (Metal Gear Solid) and Kazuma Jinnouchi.

Not all fans are happy about the 3DCG animation style as it's far from the original beloved style, but it is directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), so we're sure that they'll deliver something awesome.

Another cool thing is that Ilya Kuvshinov, a well-known artist from Russia based in Tokyo, is working on the project as a character designer.

100% procedural material made in Substance Designer.
