"Unlimited color control after the sim is done? Yes, please."
Urban Bradesko of DoubleJump Academy showcased a neat simulation featuring what seems to be a kind of Warthog, the iconic armored vehicle from the Halo video game series. Surrounded by explosions, the Warthog smoothly transitions through various colors, continuing to change even after the simulation is complete.
This vehicle had previously been featured in Urban Bradesko's Ultimate Explosions Workshop, an in-depth, hands-on course centered around creating explosive scenarios for movies and games. Guided by a professional VFX Artist with a true passion for digital explosions, you get to explore art direction, volume manipulation, and advanced techniques for working with pyro. The course also covers recreating famous explosion shots, reverse-engineering their creation, and tackling rendering and compositing.
