The next Xbox is now officially called Xbox Series X.
The console itself was revealed at The Game Awards accompanied by the announced Senua's Saga: Hellbade 2 from developer Ninja Theory, which is said to take advantage of the new system's power.
Spencer states that Series X is the team's fastest, most powerful Xbox, setting a new bar for performance, speed, and compatibility.
Spencer also added that Microsoft's 15 first-party studios are were developing the largest and most creatively diverse lineup of exclusive games in the Xbox's history.
In an interview with Gamespot, he said that their new controller has a share button. "We've heard feedback that sharing is such a part of a gaming experience now for many of our players that I wanted a dedicated hardware button to share, so you'll see that."
The Xbox Series X will be available on Holiday 2020. Little is known about the price or hardware specs for now.
