Xiaomi Unveiled AR Glasses with 50MP Camera & Micro OLED Display

Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera will start crowdfunding on August 3.

Xiaomi revealed Mijia Glasses Camera – AR glasses with a 50MP primary camera and an 8 MP periscope camera, capable of up to 15 times zoom.

Xiaomi's new device has a Sony Micro OLED display with up to 3,000 nit brightness and a 1,020mAh battery that lets recording continuously for up to 100 minutes on a single charge.

The glasses are able to translate between English and Chinese, with other features, such as the botanical garden, zoo, and screencasting, planned in future OTA updates.

The 100g Mijia Glasses sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-core independent computing platform with a 3 + 32GB storage combination, independent ISP, dual Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The glasses are available for pre-order in China for ¥2,499 (about $370), they are expected to retail for ¥2,699 ($400) in the future. The crowdfunding campaign will launch on August 3.
