If you've ever wanted to explore Mexico in Red Dead Redemption 2, now you have the opportunity to do so. Mexico Team launched a mod that allows one to discover the lands of Mexico from the first installment.

In Red Dead Redemption 1, Mexico served as the second region that protagonist John Marston explored during his quest to track down former members of the Van der Linde Gang, Bill Williamson and Javier Escuella. It was also during this time that Marston aided a rebel group led by Abraham Reyes as part of the Mexican Revolution. However, in the prequel game, Red Dead Redemption 2, players encounter an invisible barrier preventing them from entering Mexico, despite its presence on the in-game map.

You can find the Nuevo Paraiso mod on libertycity.net. As Mexico Team wrote, the mod is in its Early Access, meaning that more enhancements are yet to come.

"The mod reworks part of the Nuevo Paraiso map from RDR1 and transfers it to RDR2. Remade cities and peds for them are included. The mod is in early access and is an unfinished version," shared the team behind the mod.
