The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley has returned to Fortnite better than ever thanks to Epic Games' MetaHuman, which transformed him into a pretty realistic 3D model.
The company introduced MetaHuman to Unreal Editor for Fortnite in March, and you can see some of its best work in Keighley, whom you'll meet at the virtual Game Awards, where you can vote for your favorite Island and fight in an Arena.
“I saw Epic’s announcement of MetaHumans in UEFN earlier this year and thought it would be incredible to see what was possible around The Game Awards,” Keighley said. “I spent a full day at 3Lateral in Manchester, England to get scanned as a MetaHuman. You sit in a scanner and do tons of different face poses, then they scan your body too. The results speak for themselves, I truly feel like I have a digital double!”
