Players waiting for Bethesda's next epic space RPG can now start preloading Starfield via Xbox and Microsoft Store. Please note that if you purchased the game on Steam, you will have to wait until August 30th.
In case you're wondering about the size, you would need 126.1 GB on Xbox Series X (a 100.1 GB download) and 139.8 GB on PC.
Starfield will be released on September 6th – the good news for Xbox users is that the RPG will be added to Game Pass on release day. Owners of the $100 Premium Edition will have access to the game on September 1st. You can also play early with the $35 Premium Edition upgrade, which also includes the first story expansion to be released in the future.
Earlier today, we reported that Bethesda held a dev Q&A session where they answered questions on Starfield. The RPG will have 20 companions for hire but won't let you complete the entire story in a pacifist playstyle. Learn more here.
