PlayStation and Insomniac Games will introduce new accessibility features in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Sony updated its page for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation Store. Among other things, the company addressed accessibility options mentioning they worked on several new features for different groups of players.
One of the main things worth noticing is that the Insomniac team added a new ability to slow down the combat speed to 70%, 50%, or 30% of the full speed. This setting can be tweaked at any time or reverted to the default value.
The sequel will also have audio descriptions for text in various menus and for in-game cutscenes. What is more, the studio will add previous accessibility options, including Quick Time Events (QTEs) and aiming, plus detailed subtitle settings with an interface.
Here are the accessibility features:
- Audio: screen reader support will read aloud all on-screen text in menus.
- Captions: on-screen captions and audio descriptions are available for cinematic scenes.
- Gameplay: you can choose to slow down the action to 70%, 50% or 30% of the full speed; switching back to regular speed at any time.
