The update includes several BevelPro changes, some modifications, and will be available for free.
ZBrush 2022.0.3 is a free upgrade for all registered ZBrush users (both perpetual licenses and subscriptions). The update introduces multiple BevelPro changes, such as improved bevel results with additional control options, the Smoothness option that was added in the Bevel Pro Advance options, BevelPro now supports chamfering, beveling supports inner boolean parts to fill holes, and Bevel/Chamfer operands feature polygroup separation. Moreover, edge fixing is now more aggressive, and when Auto Apply is enabled, edges are fixed as well. Flipped meshes are respected, while polish by groups respects masking. The upgrade also includes improved mesh rendering inside BevelPro.
As for other modifications, Gizmo icons are now 50% larger; the strength of smoothing after alt-drag when cleaning topology curves is now dependent on the Stroke/CurveFunctions/Curve Smoothness slider; ZCameras will now store up to 256 cameras; there are separate TransPose falloff controls for Gizmo and Action Lines.
Aside from these changes, ZBrush, now part of the Maxon family, fixed some issues, the list of which you can see on the website. This update is free for all users, however, the ZBrush team has recently declared that perpetual licenses acquired after December 29, 2021, will not receive free major upgrades.
