Maxon revealed that the popular sculpting software will finally visit Apple tablets.
Maxon has finally announced what 3D artists have been waiting for a long time – ZBrush will soon be available for iPad. The tablet edition of the popular 3D sculpting tool will visit Apple devices sometime in 2024, the company announced at ZBrush Summit 2023.
The tool has always been one of the main tools in the 3D industry but its complex interface made it kind of difficult to use the software in a mobile mode. Of course, you can use on laptops but many artists were hoping (me too) that ZBrush will one day launch on iPads and other tablets.
Unfortunately, the team didn't share much – we just know the release window – the mobile version should be out in 2024, but that’s all we have for now. Maxon hasn’t revealed the feature list or prices. They also didn't share if the version will be free for existing users.
