Soon, you'll be able to create, edit, and manage UVs directly within the app using a dedicated UV Editor and advanced tools.
As part of the Maxon Fall 2025 release, which, as usual, delivered updates across the unified creative ecosystem, several upcoming features were also previewed. Notably, new retopology tools and a UV Editor in ZBrush were showcased, greatly improving manual workflows.
Later this year, you'll be able to create individual faces, place vertex points, expand geometry with edge loops, and more. The new UV Editor will also allow you to manage UVs directly within ZBrush for desktop, seamlessly integrated into your sculpting workflow.
Additionally, a folder restructure will simplify version and profile management for both individual artists and studios.
ZBrush has just been updated on both desktop and iPad. Python scripting on desktop unlocks automation and better pipeline integration, while new 3D printing tools bring full feature parity to iPad. Surface Noise gets UI upgrades, alpha transforms, and full undo/redo support. On iPad, UI improvements include a movable bottom bar, an adjustable modifier wheel, and customizable interface sharing.
