Within the graphic team, the Marketing Artist contributes to game promotion by producing animated and interactive marketing content (motion design and HTML formats) and in-game captures.
Main missions:
- Design and create motion design animations for short trailers, social networks, store pages, and advertising campaigns.
- Create animated HTML banners and modules (display, newsletters, landing pages, special operations) while respecting the game's visual identity.
- Adapt existing static visuals (key arts, logos, icons, social media visuals, advertising, etc.) into animated or interactive formats.
- Create additional marketing graphic elements (animated titles, end cards, gifs).
- Optimize content for the web and various platforms (constraints of advertising networks).
- Participate in preparing scenes to capture with screenshot artists (composition, camera angle, lighting, poses, FX) according to marketing needs.
- Use in-game captures (sorting, selection, retouching, cropping) to create visuals ready for use in motion or HTML formats.
- Perform retouching and compositing (light photobashing, color correction) to enhance the visual impact of captures.
Job requirements:
- Demonstrate proficiency in motion design tools: After Effects (or equivalent), and knowledge of video editing (Premiere or equivalent).
- Show a good level of 2D graphic creation tools (Adobe Suite).
- Have skills in HTML/CSS for creating banners and animated web content (HTML5).
- Explore 3D and/or a game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.) to understand production technical constraints and optimize in-game asset preparation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of technical constraints of digital advertising formats (banners, interstitials, social networks) and distribution platforms.
- Show sensitivity to video game production constraints and working from assets and in-game captures.
