2D-Like Massimo from Luca Made in Blender

Allan Georget brought concept art to life.

Take a look at this amazing 2D-like recreation of Massimo Marcovaldo from Pixar's Luca, made by 3D artist Allan Georget in Blender using one of the concept arts from the company's official site.

The model offers another angle (and arm) to the fisherman, and we would love to see it moving in a short animation or movie.

Georget has also made himself into a Luca character before. This and other works from the artist can be found on his X/Twitter.

If you enjoy 3D projects that look two-dimensional, check out Omar Faruq Tawsif's scenes, Bran Sculpts's Launch from Dragon Ball, and Kung Fu Panda's Tai Lung by Angel Corona.
