2D Sketch of KPop Demon Hunters Turned into 3D on Time Magazine Cover
A group of talented artists made the render possible.

The new Time Magazine issue features the "breakthrough of the year" – KPop Demon Hunters – on its cover, and the 3D render wouldn't be possible without the artists who turned a sketch into this colorful image.
Celine Dahyeu Kim, the creator of the 2D version, shared the "rough" image, and you can see how much work she and her colleagues poured into the shot.

The final paint in the movie was done by Simon Baek, while the 3D posing and rendering for Time were done by SPI, and the paintover and edits were performed by Mingjue Chen and Scott Watanabe.
Together, they made it to one of the most famous outlets in the world, and they deserve every praise they get.
