3D Metasites by 80.lv Community: YANA

Check out a new experience added to the 80 Level's cloud streaming service.

This week, we would like to highlight this amazing experience by talented Real-Time Viz Artist, Eugenio Panizza. Explore this abandoned train, its metallic interior glowing with a haunting purple light amid the deep silence. Remember, You Are Not Alone.

YANA

Created by Eugenio Panizza.

YANA was inspired by observing the world and the work of artists in various fields to find inspiration for unique creations. These works often showcase updates and tools of Unreal Engine, embodying a personal touch. Players experiencing YANA not only see the raw output from Unreal, untouched and showcasing the engine's great visual potential but are also brought into the parallel realm of YANA—a realm tinted with scarabs and séances, where light and shadow play the most important roles, visualizing life as a journey.

"When on your journey nobody wants to tag along,
Struggling to bear the weight of it all
Lost and far from where you belong,
Only the feeling of the darkness taking control
Remember thatYou Are Not Alone"

"All this was possible thanks to the ever-increasing features that the Epic Games team keeps releasing, the great community they have built, and the workflow that increasingly relies on Unreal Engine. The assets for the subway are from the Epic Marketplace and Quixel Megascans, the skeletons are textured in Substance Painter, and the post-production for the final cinematic was done in DaVinci Resolve—each a great tool for any real-time experience. Last but definitely not least, collaborating with other artists is the best way to create captivating art. I eagerly invite everyone experiencing YANA to crank up the volume and listen to the work of my dear friend and talented sound designer Salvatore Palermo, whose contributions have truly made YANA unique", stated the artist.
