A 3D Portrait of Michael Jackson Made in Maya, ZBrush & UE5.2

This impressive recreation of the King of Pop was made by Baolong Zhang.

3D Character Artist Baolong Zhang, who specializes in creating highly-realistic portraits of various characters and creatures from movies and TV series, has unveiled one more outstanding model that can easily be mistaken for a real-life photo.

This time, the artist tackled Michael Jackson himself, producing a stunning 3D recreation of the King of Pop made with Maya and ZBrush and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.2, the latest version of Epic Games' engine. Additionally, the creator utilized MetaHuman to rig the portrait, which, according to Baolong, has been "very challenging with the default blend shapes", but still quite convenient for someone who "doesn't do rigging".

You can check out more of Baolong's amazing characters here. Also, don't forget to join our 80 Level Talent platform and our Telegram channel, follow us on Instagram and Twitter, where we share breakdowns, the latest news, awesome artworks, and more.
