Last week, multiple creators from Larian Studios, including Concept, Character, Environment, and VFX Artists, as well as 3D Animators, shared a massive collection of behind-the-scenes materials and renders, offering a closer look at the acclaimed Baldur's Gate 3 and showing how the multitude of its environments, characters, and visual effects were made.
As part of this art dump, the studio's 3D Environment Artist, Tim Wilmsen, also provided a closer examination of the beloved game, revealing some interesting details about its levels and assets. With a series of ArtStation posts, the creator showcased some impressive renders and presented the modular pieces, made using Maya, ZBrush, and Substance 3D Painter, which played a crucial role in constructing the game's immersive environments.
