Aster Studios' 3D and Tech Artist Frank J. Chao, a.k.a. Xaos, has showcased a cool new shader made for the studio's upcoming horror game titled Project Morpheus. According to a short demo shared by the artist, the shader was set up in Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen enabled and can create an eerie distortion effect in reaction to gunfire shots. The author commented that this effect was created for the upcoming game's monsters, which the main character will have to encounter and overcome.
