A Fluid Grass Simulation Made in Unity

The setup enables individual blades of grass to react to the wind in a realistic manner.

Illustrator and Art Director Kacper Szwajka, known for creating complex projects using Unity and Houdini, has unveiled an amazing new simulation. This time, the creator showed an amazing setup that enables individual blades of grass to bend in a lifelike manner depending on the direction of the wind. According to Kacper, the simulation utilizes Keijiro Takahashi's StableFluids GPU implementation for Unity and is based on a method described by Shahriar Shahrabi in this comprehensive breakdown.
