A Mod To Make Your Pawns As Quiet As They Are Helpful In DD2

The name of the mod 'ShutUpPawns' literally tells what it does.

Pawns, whether human or beast-like, are a unique feature of Dragon's Dogma 2. As the Arisen, you can lead a party of up to three Pawns on your journey. These Pawns aren't just for show; they learn from their experiences and adapt their behavior accordingly, making them valuable allies.

While they may seem like a good idea for the game, these devoted helpers can be a mixed blessing. Some players appreciate their assistance, while others find their constant chatter and excessive high-fives annoying.

Now, a mod created by modder 'emoose' allows you to enjoy a quieter gameplay experience.

The mod, named "ShutUpPawns", literally provides an effective way to silence Pawns when they comment on every ladder and chest they see, or any other chatter they may produce. It also enables you to block the celebratory high-fives after battles.

The user interface of the "ShutUpPawns" mod displays a history of the last 10 messages from the Pawns. If any of these messages become bothersome, you can just block them. All it takes is a simple click on "Block" next to the unwanted message and remember to save your configuration afterward to ensure the changes are applied. Simple as it is.

What's even better, the mod also intelligently handles message variations as the blocking function extends to most variants of the selected line. This feature saves you the trouble of having to block each variation individually.

So if you're someone who prefers a quieter companion, feel free to check out and download the mod here
