A New Investment Fund Has Launched to Assist Indie Developers

If you're an indie game developer seeking funding, there is good news for you – a new investment fund has been launched and it is open to receiving applications from game development teams who are wishing to release their exciting games.
Founded by game industry veterans, including game engine developers, business professionals, and mentors within various fields, Gamedev Fund is an early-stage investment fund whose goal is to aid skilled teams in shipping their games by offering expertise, connections, and financial support.
The fund will be focusing on investing in high-quality indie games for PC and consoles that have a playable demo readily available. The founders note that teams eligible for funding should be located in Europe. The size of funding will depend on an individual case, however, Gamedev Fund says that devs can expect an investment of €100,000 to €500,000.
To assist devs in achieving their goals, Gamedev Fund also collaborates with an extensive network of mentors, advisors, venture capitalists, and publishers, the pool of which is increasingly growing as the fund is constantly looking to increase its network.
This is why, in addition to the announcement of the new initiative, Gamedev Fund reveals that it is looking to expand and is searching for new advisors, VCs, and publishers to join its network.
