A Powerful Retopology Tool For Maya

Have a look at ziRail, a tool that will save you tons of time in Maya.

This toolkit lets users generate patch polygons along strokes that are drawn directly on a mesh. The developer states that ziRail makes creating polygons a more intuitive process.

You should also keep in mind that it is still a beta version and the developer plans to release free updates. The plugin support Maya 2018, 2019, and 2020 for Windows (Linux and macOS versions are in development).

You will get .mll plug-in files for supported Maya versions, plus Python files for UI and main functions
