A Redditor Presents John Wick-inspired UE5 Top-Down Shooter WIP

Remember that Chapter 4's epic combat scene with a long one-shot top-down fight?

This clip of a realistic-looking top-down shooter with the camera smoothly following the cursor is a WIP of an Unreal Engine 5-powered game project a Reddit user known as Balsby is currently working on.

According to the developer, they were heavily inspired by the apartment massacre scene, one of the most stunning fights in John Wick: Chapter 4, which was in fact drawing inspiration from The Hong Kong Massacre, a brutal fast-paced top-down shooter.

This is a particularly startling sequence because it follows John Wick moving quickly from room to room with the camera tracking him in a long and unbroken shot:
