A Unity-Powered VTuber Fighting Game Prototype

VTuber fans might soon be able to play a fighting game that features their favorite characters.

French Game Developer Jouji has revealed a cool-looking fighting game prototype that features VTubers as playable characters. For those unaware, VTubers, or Virtual YouTubers, are YouTubers and live streamers who use digital avatars and real-time motion capture software as their online personas. The developer is apparently a fan of VTubers, so this game prototype intertwines the two passions of Jouji.

According to the developer, this project had been in development for quite some time, before this prototype was shown, with a working hit direction system being developed recently. The prototype's description states that the project is being developed in Unity engine. The character's model was made by 3D Artist Kathy Diaz a.k.a. Priichu.
