A Wet Sand Effect Set Up in Unity

OMYOG continues the development of an upcoming game Project Ferocious with yet another cool setup.

Solo Game Developer OMYOG continues the development of Project Ferocious, an upcoming survival shooter set in a prehistoric world full of deadly creatures, with yet another fantastic effect set up in Unity. This time, the developer has managed to create realistic wet sand/mud physics using a custom-made solution. According to the developer, this effect is made by rendering the meshes that should affect the sand into a render texture and using that for displacement.

Previously, OMYOG had already demonstrated stunning plant physics and a cool ocean shoreline simulation made in Unity. You can learn more about the upcoming game here and follow the development process over here.
