Action Roguelike Mortal Sin Has Sold Over 300,000 Copies
The developer plans to release an update with a playable mode and additional content.
Mortal Sin, an action roguelike developed by Nikola Todorovic, reached a milestone of more than 300,000 copies sold.
The developer thanked the community for playing the RPG and unveiled some of the further plans for the title. The creator doesn't plan to introduce major system reworks to the game and will focus more on expanding its existing features and providing new ways to play. The next update, introducing a new playable mode with a leaderboard, is expected this month. The update will also feature additional content, such as new rooms, skills, and possibly a new class.
Released in August 2025, Mortal Sin received Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam, with over 4,400 ratings.
The game takes place in a procedurally generated, nightmarish world built around fast and precise melee combat. The RPG offers randomized quests and a mix of hand-crafted rooms that keep each run feeling fresh. Players can choose from a variety of distinct classes, ranging from the greatsword-wielding Berserker to the gun-toting Pirate, each designed around a unique playstyle.
