Action RPG Minecraft Dungeons Returns This Year

Minecraft Dungeons, an action RPG set in the dungeons of the Minecraft universe, returns this year with a sequel. Mojang Studios, Double Eleven, and Xbox Game Studios bring us the new chapter of the heroic story rooted in the beloved voxel-based world, which is planned to launch on PC and console.

According to the description, the sequel's story unfolds against the backdrop of an unprecedented threat, as a new danger looms over the characters, ready to unleash chaos. The game promises high-stakes encounters, fresh challenges, and uncharted locations across the Minecraft universe.

There's not much detail yet, but the sequel looks to be an epic adventure crafted in the game's recognizable signature style, with a triumphant, legendary mood. The developers promise to reveal more updates over time.

The previous entry in the series, also bringing the dungeon crawler genre to the Minecraft universe, was released in 2021 and gained "Very Positive" reviews on Steam, with over 90% of all the ratings being positive.
