The tabletop experience is set to include "intense combat, tactical planning, and stunning artwork featuring miniatures of iconic soldiers and weapons from the series".
Activision and Arcane Wonders have revealed that they will collaborate to create a new game called Call of Duty: The Board Game, a strategic tabletop roleplaying experience based on the iconic FPS series. Set to be released worldwide in 2024, the game promises to include a tactical approach to battles and feature miniatures of the most renowned characters and weapons from the games. According to the creators, the game will be available for pre-order in late Summer 2023 via Kickstarter.
"We're thrilled to be partnering with Activision to bring the Call of Duty franchise to the tabletop," commented Arcane Wonders CEO Bryan Pope. "As lifelong COD fans, we've worked hard to capture the scope, stakes, and sheer intensity of the video games in ways that COD fans and board gamers new and old will love. We're looking forward to bringing the unforgettable fun and competitive frenzy of COD to game night for years to come."
