Get ready to pay more for your Adobe products or suffer "penalties" with its new plans. Whether you use the benefits of AI or not, you might have to embrace it, as the company is moving in this direction.
Adobe has updated its Creative Cloud offers, and starting June 17, users will be charged more for its tools. The company has renamed Creative Cloud All Apps to Creative Cloud Pro and will be making those who use it pay $70 instead of $60 for an annual subscription.
Educational plans are moving from $35 per month to $40 annually, and teams will have to pay $100 a month instead of $90. Non-annual subscribers will have to part ways with $105 instead of $90.
If you aren't ready for those prices, try Creative Cloud Standard, a version of Adobe's software that offers only "the essential desktop experience, with limited access to our generative AI features and our web and mobile apps," costing $55 monthly if you use an annual plan.
Moreover, new single-app subscribers will have to be happy with 25 generative AI credits instead of 500. If you're already using the plan, you'll retain your 500 attempts.

"Creative Cloud Pro includes all the core applications and new AI capabilities that power the way people create today, and its price reflects that innovation, as well as our ongoing commitment to deliver the future of creative tools. It incorporates the performance and workflow improvements that speed your work in our core creative applications, like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Lightroom, with the additional benefit of unlimited standard AI generations, such as image and vector generations, and thousands of credits for premium generations," Adobe said.

The changes will be made automatically. As you might expect, users weren't too happy to hear the news, complaining that 25 credits is not nearly enough and that this switch to AI ends up costing them more.
